About Me

   I was born and raised in Fall River and I'm happy to still call it home. I'm a single mother of 2 kind and smart young ladies. I consider them to be my greatest accomplishment.  Watching them learn and grow in this great city always makes me smile. I received a BA in Forensic Photography from UMASS Amherst with a minor in Woman's Studies focusing on Woman's health issues. After working as a medical photographer I decided to attend Diman Vocational Nursing program. I graduated with honors and received my LPN license. 

   I worked as a pediatric nurse for 13 years. After that rewarding experience I took an opportunity to start teaching. As an educator,  I taught courses in medical assisting and ran a medical assisting program. I'm currently employed at the DTA as a case worker. Through all my work experience I have ALWAYS been employed in urban communities helping children and families. I would like to take another opportunity to help my community on the Fall River School Committee. 

   I have a passion for service and feel I'll be an asset to the children and families of Fall River. But, I need you!
